I met with Ted Cotter for the first time to get a second opinion. While he knew I had another attorney, he sat with me for as long as I needed, asked me pertinent questions, wrote down my response to those questions, and made himself totally available to me should I need him, but advised me to stay where I was. He was completely professional and down to earth at the same time, very relatable, always making me feel that my time was just as important as his. At the end of our meeting, I asked him what I owe him, his response was ' absolutely nothing, let me know how you make out with your situation.' I would not hesitate to retain him in the future should I ever have a need to.

We were so incredibly lucky to find Ted and his team for our NYC apartment purchase. It was our first time purchasing property in NY and we were doing a majority of the work out of state. Ted was incredibly helpful with my closing in Brooklyn. He went out of his way to explain everything I asked about, and is very affordable relative to any Brooklyn/Manhattan attorney. Support staff is very helpful as well! Being communicative is one of the most important parts of this whole process, and Ted/his team excel here. Highly reccomend.
