Merlino & Gonzalez deserve every compliment and top rating! Ken and his team are true professionals--knowledgeable, reliable and courteous. They helped my family purchase our home on Staten island and kept us updated throughout the process. They respond promptly, answer every question in layman terms, and coordinate efforts between the bank and brokers. The final "binder" of documents also arrived in a nice zip up pouch for safe keeping. From start to finish, Merlino & Gonzalez get Five Stars!

Ken and his team, including mainly Stephanie Walsh (nee DiAngelo) and Michele Santacroce, actively listened to our concerns, answered questions with honesty and transparency, and demonstrated empathy throughout the process. Ken was always available to us by direct contact and nearly immediately every time. As our search for a new home includes New Jersey, Ken thoughtfully connected me with his partner, John Merlino (licensed in the Garden State) on one occasion to answer a question about the then-newly implemented NJ buyers' exclusive agency. He also called us for a last-minute alignment conversation on a tricky issue while we were driving to our closing meeting, which was much appreciated. We received all of the Closing documents in a neatly organized binder, along with several treats and promotional items/swag which are actually useful. In short, Ken was highly professional and responsive, including on weekends and evenings, and we appreciated his deep real estate experience, excellent and timely communication, and superb attention to detail. We highly recommend this first-rate law firm, and we will use them again in connection with our wills and estate planning.
