I cannot express enough gratitude to Mr. Kolber and his amazing staff. Filing for bankruptcy was a very difficult decision, but he talked me through the logistics and everything went well. He is compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and understanding. Sandy handled most of the paperwork and we had great communication. She is quite an asset to his team. This was a dark time in my life, but Mr. Kolber and Sandy helped to make it less of a hardship. I am eternally grateful.

Barry was recommended to me and my family by our realtor. I have to say that, not only did he fail in his duty to protect us, the buyers, in our negotiations, but I believe he actively took advantage of us. For starters, he failed to do due diligence in researching the finances of the HOA, and later denied ever having received the condo’s Offering Plan--not to mention, never having properly reviewed it for us. The contract we were pressured into signing included sections in which the seller was clearly in violation. While he did help to recoup some of the money, it wasn’t nearly enough to cover the cost of repairs or for the amount of personal time it cost me to deal with all the problems. In the end I moved into a condo with many issues that, after 3 years, are still not resolved and most likely never will be. I am very unhappy living here and unfortunately I neither have the money nor the energy to move.

This was the most organized manner to have a bankruptcy completed. Alan, Barry and Sandy are excellent.

I want to start by saying that going thru this process is very very hard. Mr. Kolber and his team make every effort to make it better. Everyone in the office is super helpful and efficient. Mr. Kolber cares to the extend of answering emails and calls even when on vacation. It was worth every penny. I recommend him 110%.

Mr. Kolber and both his paralegals, Sylvia and Sandra, were all a pleasure to deal with during the entire Chapter 7 bankruptcy process. They guided me through - answering any questions and addressing any concerns I had during a very stressful time for me. I never could’ve gotten through this on my own and will always be thankful to this office. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering bankruptcy.
