I initially contacted Jonathan Bell in regards to a Federal disability retirement application. I was impressed with the responsiveness, expertise, and professionalism of the staff. When it came time to find an attorney for an EEOC it was not a difficult decision. Very happy client.

Throughout my entire career I had never before had any employment issues until, as a DoD civilian, I found myself within a group of military male managers who treated women as unequal to men. As the senior woman within my directorate, I did my best to stand up for myself and other women by following the EEO process and working out an agreement with the agency, but when the agency breached that agreement, I realized that I needed professional assistance. That’s when I called the Law Office of Jonathan Bell and reached Mr. Mordy Yankovich, Esq. Mr. Yankovich filed a breach of agreement motion with the agency, but the agency rendered a decision upholding its actions. Mr. Yankovich then appealed the decision to the EEOC. I’ll never forget the day I received the letter from the EEOC. I had to mentally prepare myself for 30 minutes before opening it. Once I read the decision and order, I felt vindicated and that justice had been served. The decision was that the agency had breached the initial agreement and the agency was ordered to promote me to a GS-14 position and pay me all associated salary and benefits retroactive to one year prior. It also required the agency to pay all of my legal fees. I remember when I called Mordy with the news and he was so excited that they had ruled in “our” favor. I am so glad that I had Mordy on my team. He later negotiated a settlement for me regarding the EEO portion of the case. I learned a great deal from the experience and my life is much better for having gone through this process; I couldn’t have done it without the Law Office of Jonathan Bell.

Elissa and Alex they were so kind and very patience through this long process. My experience working as a city letter carrier for the USPS in Shreveport, Louisiana was an absolute nightmare. In the beginning of my career, things were great until I sustained injuries on the job. After the injuries, came the mistreatment and disability discrimination from management. Over about a 10 year span, on my own, I filed grievance after grievance, and EEO after EEO. The grievances and EEO's would stop management's bad behavior for a little while, but eventually I grew weary of feeling like I was fighting a loosing battle. I was done fighting the USPS by myself. With the help of some pretty awesome attorneys within the firm, I was able to win my disability discrimination lawsuit against the USPS for a pretty nice settlement. Once that was completed, they also handled my federal disability retirement application. As of August 22, 2015, I am officially retired from the USPS. I am an 11 year employee with TSA-DHS. I unintentionally violated a procedure when working in the checkpoint. TSA management set forth a proposal for removal. I contacted Jonathan Bell immediately. I had spoken to him several months earlier and he explained he did not want any money at this time until the actual proposal was presented. This was refreshing because other firms were wanting to nickel and dime me before I even got a proposal. Mr.Bell assigned my case to Attorney Josh Friedman. Josh was very helpful to me.
