My workman's compensation case was handled very professionally. Not only were they courteous as well they made sure I fully understood what was happening, why it was happening and what was needed to proceed with my case. I would endorse and strongly recommend this law firm to anyone who needs a workman's compensation attorney! As an edit to my original post it has been close to 2 years now since my injury and am still impressed with how MCV Law has been handling my case. Even a minor question or a question for my piece of mind is handled professionally and is explained so there is no doubt in my mind. I also want to add that if anyone does get injured at work get an attorney. I went for the longest without one and choose one finally when I had a court date from the insurance carrier. MCV Law put a stop to me running back and forth to my doctor's to provide the insurance carrier additional information. No matter what the insurance carrier says, they are not your friend. On a final note, I really can't stress how much I appreciate everything this law firm has done for me, without them I don't even want to think of what else the insurance company would of put me through.

I first came to MCV Law Firm after my first application for SSDI was denied. I called and got an appointment right away with Kimberly Slimbaugh. I found that Kim is extremely knowledgeable about the law and the SSDI process and she is very compassionate about her clients. I also dealt with her assistant, Lynn, and she helped me to obtain documentation that was needed for my case. Lynn was wonderful and always answered my calls or emails. Like many people seeking SSDI, my case was very involved with multiple illnesses and injuries. Kim helped me submit my appeal paperwork and always took the time to ask me how I was doing. That really meant a lot to me, knowing I was being treated with respect and understanding. I also developed another serious Illness during this time and Kim and Lynn couldn't have been more supportive and caring. When you are dealing every day with your disabling illnesses and injuries, it means everything to have people like Kim in your corner. My appeal was granted and I am now collecting my benefits. That was a huge relief both emotionally and economically. Kim turned what could have been a very stressful process into a positive one and for that I will always be grateful.

Let me start by saying I would recommend MCV lawyers to anyone needing a Worker’s Compensation lawyer, a personal injury lawyer and his Social Security disability lawyer! They have all 3 In their firm and my husband used all three after having had a head on collision on April 15, 2019 while driving a work van. He was hit by a gentleman who had an unfortunate medical issue and had no control of this accident. It was the most horrific day in our lives for us and unfortunately the other family. My sister had told us that we were going to need a very good Worker’s Compensation lawyer and suggested Chris Stringham. She worked for a Worker’s Compensation insurance company and knew of him from Worker’s Compensation claims that her company had worked on. Chris was one of the lawyers that would fight for the Injured worker. Chris handled all the paperwork for us and anything we had to do if we didn’t understand he was there at our beck and call when we needed him. If he was out of the office in court he had others on his team that would get back to us in a properly manner.Then there is Heather LaDieu our personal injury lawyer. Again she was at our beck and call when we needed her and if she was not available her assistant Trish Stegemann was there for us. They helped us through all of the paperwork and helped us understand what was going on at all times. In the end Heather fought the person who caused the accidents insurance to get us the settlement that we thought my husband deserved. The Social Security disability lawyer filled out the entire application for us while we were in the office. From what I’ve heard you normally get denied the first time you apply for Social Security disability and may have to go to court to fight it. But my husband was approved right away and did not have to go through that. It was a very trying time in our lives and this firm made things so much easier for us that we can’t thank them enough! This firm really cares about you!

She's extremely professional and represents her law firm very well...but it's her heart that makes you happy that she's your lawyer. She gives it her all. She takes your case personally and this instantly makes you trust her and feel reassured on such a deep level. For the first time in months, you begin to relax and focus on your health. She has taken the heavy burden off of your shoulders. Your job is to check in with Bethany, or the Client Advocate, Valerie S. (who is also cut from the same cloth with a heart of gold), and wait until they tell you that the fight is over and that you have won.
