We had such a terrible experience working with Seth Fischer it is hard to detail. To say he is confrontational and difficult in dealing with him is generous. His knee jerk response is to review the prior agreement or attack you. Our real Estate j followed up with us twice regarding seth’s unprofessional behavior and email correspondence. . We signed the retainer agreement and agreed with it and we’re happy to pay his higher than normal fee structure. But he went down two or three rabbit holes regarding our non standard closing at were overly costly to use. Our property was a single family home and an additional 27 attached acres in a trust in our name. We gave Seth the property tax is numbers and the trust attorney name immediately. He spent numerous hours researching the trust which was unnecessary. We gave Seth the name of our former title company for the original house and property purchase which god knows what he did with. It was weeks before he actually located the titles ordered the requested documents and sent to the buyers attorney. We never received confirmation the documents had been received or processed. Our last direct correspondence with Seth was august 1. Our scheduled close date was September 20. It is now September 22 and we left a message with seth’s office regarding specific questions related to our closing and a return phone call with no response. I had some text correspondence with Seth regarding a return phone call and he was 1. Out of the office 2. Very busy and 3. Would respond via email. Seth is supposed to be our attorney, we are paying him, and don’t think a return phone is a big ask. We are looking to leave our ny home and nys but have zero degree of confidence Seth can make this happen. AguenkThinking of looking for another attorney just to be done twith seth
