My review from a couple years ago: "Highly, highly recommend Pact. Fantastic experience. Great communication, high quality legal counsel for my LLC conversion to a C Corp. I loved working with Brent & would refer him without hesitation." My updates: I continue to believe Brent is a rockstar, but sadly I am changing my rating from 5 to 1 star on account of his colleague Katie Centolella. He referred me to her for exploration of the costs/benefits of dissolving my C Corp or maintaining it and converting the note holders to shareholders, including section 1244 applicability. Katie abused my naiveté and took advantage of me. I asked for a check-in before billable hours exceeded more than three hours. They brazenly racked up $4K+ in legal fees without checking with me. I later found out that the conversion work they billed me for is entirely free on Carta. I can continue to recommend Brent without reservation but strongly suggest avoiding Katie.
