Few years ago I contacted Marian David to help me with my Green Card process, after a friend recommended her to me. Even if not particularly friendly when I met her (I wasn't looking for a friend but for a great lawyer though) she seemed knowledgeable and helpful. We agreed on her fees and I paid half of them ($2250). I took definitely more time than necessary to start gather documents, so definitely that was my "fault", but eventually I started to put together what was needed, and my contacts with her had been only via emails and a couple of phone calls. She was always very matter-of -fact and not really helpful in explaining what I needed to know, so I eventually decided not to proceed with her, and as basically she didn't do anything but answering emails I asked her to get a partial reimbursement of her fees. She sent me a very detailed list of the time she spent writing emails and staying on the phone with me (twice!) that according to her covered the $2250...I understand that lawyers don't work for free, but I found her behavior very unprofessional and greedy. I eventually contacted someone else who helped me in a very professional and helpful way to get my Green Card. Definitely I would NOT recommend this Company to anyone!
