The most useless and unprofessional group I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with

What an absolute bunch of crooks. Prosecutional misconduct at its finest. Using proven faked evidence against defendants, falsified records. The DA herself and her underlings should be sent back to law school to learn the law, especially the difference between civil and criminal. Lawsuits are gonna fly againt this office for sure.

Takes forever to get a response from them

Sheila Crowley was assigned to me after a domestic dispute between my boyfriend at the time and I. He was high on drugs and attacked me at 7am after a night of psychotic behavior that I left the house for the night before. It was four days after the incident that we had court, I was still covered head to toe in bruises with a chipped tooth and busted lip from my ex (he had no marks because I wasn't strong enough to protect myself). I was shaken up and asked to reschedule while I got my head in the right place. She told me I should drop all charges and restraining order and let him go back to work. (correction officer like her husband) She got angry with me when I denied those actions and she gave me a court date (in her writing) which I found out was the day after she went to court for me on the real date and spoke for me, she did not attempt to call me and ask where I was, instead she had all charges for him dropped and he was released back to work. I called her asking for information on what had happened. Three weeks later I am still trying to contact her and wondering why she screwed me over. She is rude and does not care at all about what I had gone through, she stands by the badge even when theyre in the biggest wrong.. I will NEVER ask for her help again nor refer her to anyone. I will be going to her higher ups and making sure that everyone in the area is well aware of her behavior and what she put me through.

Beware! Hungry for money, not justice!

I was given her as a public defender. My accuser that pressed charges was a person hostile to me already that already recently showed up where I live screaming and it startled my mother so much she got an order of protection. She filed a false report claiming I was following her where she works that and I was upset that her son was not allowed where I live. The fact is I have no problem with that because her son steals . We walked backed to Shiela,s desk and she has her head leaning to one side bobbing around while making strange grunting noises. She asks what happened and before long she starts saying how I am claiming to be innocent. She says I hear that all the time. I never said no such thing. It was the accuser however that lost her temper and followed me. Sheila tried to use my trouble i got into about 30 years ago against me and a witness who probably heard me when I was leaving. The accuser had plenty of time however to convince her she was a victim. Even though the witness told me herself she saw us both at the door that never made it to the police report which seemed to be biased. She saw us both at the door because she followed me when I was leaving. My civil rights were violated. IT said in the police report I was told I was under arrest I was not. I was told I was being taken to a judge. I was not read my rights and It also said I declined to make a statement which was false also. I was mistreated and treated like an inconvenience from the start. I wanted a different lawyer and he does not see me Until just before I go in front of the judge and I had to make a quick decision to take a plea or go to court. ..and yes Shiela if you are reading this -I was innocent. If she was so afraid of me she would not have been following me.. The accuser was fired not long after this incidence .

Ms. Crowley was the most unprofessional attorney that I have ever met in my entire life. She was rude, disrespectful, she did not listen to me or let me speak. Ms. Crowley did try to tell me to drop my case before I even was able to introduce myself to her, before she even knew any of the facts of my case. Ms. Crowley even went as far as to ignore attorney client privilege in this case. I did get the impression that she seemed to be representing the other side in my case, as the other reviewer mentioned in their review here on this site. I would highly recommend an ethical review of Ms. Crowley as she should not be representing her clients in this manner.

she tries to talk you in to pleading guilty at the very first meeting ...says "the Judge will be more lenient on my sentencing". All she wants is the quickest way to get you off her case load. Then I was assigned her for a child support hearing and she was more on the offenses side then mine...then during the negotiations she actually told my ex to not except my offer of $2000 dollars and an agreement to pay the minimum payment until I find better employment to keep me out of jail and told her to proceed on all matters.. Later to find out they were friends on Facebook
