As a solo attorney, I am often in need of reliable, competent and trustworthy attorneys who handle matters outside my area of expertise. Over the past 25 years, whenever I have had the need for such an attorney, Lou Simonetti and his associates have always been at the ready and have always performed beyond expectations. Over the years, Lou has also rescued many of my family members from precarious legal situations and they, along with any clients I have referred to them, have invariably come back to thank me for having referred them to Simonetti and Associates. They are caring, diligent, experienced and thorough, are always accessible and responsive, and promptly address issues or questions as they arise in a detailed and results oriented manner. Had the unfortunate circumstance whereby I needed the services of a quality divorce firm. I initially met with a highly regarded Manhattan firm. There I ended up being "handled" by a series of junior associates that billed at senior level Manhattan rates yet provided basic service. I was referred to Simonetti and Associates. I was more than pleasantly surprised with the firms boutique feel, senior level attention, and insight from the principle and his very experienced team. Lou S responded to each and every one of my questions and details as if I were his/their only client. i probably drove him a bit crazy with all of my calls and scenarios - but each and every time he provided great advice and guidance. Although the process of divorce is not one I would recommend, in the end Simonetti and Associates was a trusted advisor and fair partner that helped me navigate these confusing and at times emotional waters. In a word - they were GREAT! I know quite a bit about law firms through my business dealings. Simonetti and Associates is a very strong firm with very specific expertise in this area.

Lou was the best and helped me through my divorce. He is extremely professional, fair and got me an expeditious result. His legal fees, compared to those of the lawyer my wife used , were fair and reasonable (less than half!). All my wife’s attorney cared about was running up the bill, while Lou and his firm were focused on getting my case done quickly and effectively. I was very happy with the results. As a business person, I also appreciate how hard it can be to keep up with phone calls. When I went for the initial consult he told me that he returns every call and he delivered on that promise. During a stressful divorce being able to reach your lawyer really provides a level of comfort. I frequently left him a voicemail on a weekend, fully expecting that he’d call me back on Monday, and I always got a call back within seconds. I actually had an emergency on Christmas morning and got an immediate call. I have already recommended Simonetti and Associates to 2 family members and I will always continue to do so. The qualities I was looking for in an attorney were professionalism and compassion. I wanted someone aggressive, but not a lawyer who was antagonistic. Lou Simonetti has all of these. Simonetti achieved more in 3 months than my previous lawyer did in 2 years! He was fair with billing and always returned my call and emails. I have recommended him to my sister and my boss who are getting divorced.

Michael Ricca was very helpful and professional. He was able to go over all the information on the phone and I was able to sign documents electronically. Mr. Ricca was able to appear in court on my behalf. While he wasn’t able to get my ticket reduced initially, he adjourned the appearance and appeared again and was able to get my moving violation ticket reduced. Highly recommended!

Simonetti and Associates has an excellent team of lawyers that are caring, compassionate, and work hard to ensure that the divorce process is a smooth one! I would really recommend the firm to anyone considering a divorce. My brother's divorce could not have gone as smooth with anyone but Simonetti and Associates.
