Cons
1
Lack of responsiveness and communication from some attorneys, leading to frustration and delays
“Also her lack of responsiveness was completly unprofessional - I often waited weeks for response to inquiries.”
2
Attorneys providing unnecessary services and charging exorbitant fees
“Alissa did nothing to simplify the divorce process for us and offered unnessacary services. Also her lack of responsiveness was completly unprofessional - I often waited weeks for response to inquiries. Documents that she sent me were standard templates and were filled with errors, and I was charged thousands for her to produce them.”
3
Unethical and deceptive practices, such as non-refundable retainers
“When I asked about a refund of my reatiner balance which was about 2k, I was told that it was non refundable and that it was noted in the agreement. This is a complete misuse and deceptive use of the term retainer and is unethical/criminal.”
