I was unlucky twice, first with my buyer and then with Carolyn Weiss as my litigator. Lack of focus, poor communication, many contradictions in her directions are some examples of my bad experience with her office. She is very quick to charge and slow to react.

RUDE, RUTHLESS, FRAUD and UNPROFESSIONAL attorney. I have hired Carolyn Weiss to represent as a sellers attorney. The closing took 5 months due to the inefficiencies or lack of understanding of the closing process of the attorney. I have hired Carolyn for a flat-rate but I have end paying more. She also charges an additional $300 above the flat fees! Big Fraud!. She made a calculation error on the closing statement and hesitant to provide the explanation after multiple emails. When I pointed out the error with the Excel spreadsheet calculation.  She asked to pay an additional $300 per hour to fix the double accounting calculation error she made. I believe she has made the error with an intention of fraud :(

Carolyn handled the sale of my coop. She was thorough, very good at answering questions, and compassionate about certain anxieties I had related to the contract. I also really appreciated having much of the work of the closing handled digitally, thereby eliminating the need to take time out of my day to go to her office.

Carolyn was an excellent lawyer and advocate for us during our first home buying experience. We successfully closed on our house in December 2019. She works diligently on your behalf behind the scenes, and if you have any questions at all, you can call or email her and will always receive timely responses. During the closing, there were some unforeseen issues that Carolyn ardently negotiated until we reached an acceptable resolution. She truly has your back. We highly recommend her and would work with her again in a heartbeat.

Gene and his team are the only firm to get me positive results in my 10 year quest to modify my child suport. Call them first- before you are at the end of your rope like I was-they will help you.

Rude & unprofessional. The guy who answered the phone told me the lawyer handling those cases wasn’t in today. I assumed he would ask me to call back or take my information. Instead he briskly said they couldn't help us and hung up before I could even respond. It’s has nothing to do with not taking the case- it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. Bad business practice.

Carolyn Weiss was a pleasure to work with and have as my probate lawyer for getting the required documents filed with NY ancillary probate court for the closing of my inherited out-of-state real estate property.
