After a couple years of personal tragedy that precipitated my need for a lawyer Michael Schwartz was recommended to me quite highly by a trusted friend. My wife and I have been experiencing serious financial problems since the collapse of the housing market. Over the years we spoke with a few foreclosure and bankruptcy attorneys. Filing for bankruptcy is never easy I suppose, but Mr. Schwartz's expertise and calm demeanor made the process as stress free as possible. His office and 'para' were knowledgeable and efficient with all communications answered in a timely manner, (which is important!). His "batting average" for favorable outcomes is super high and in Westchester County NY "he is the man".

After being taken in a real estate scam, I was left with approximately 1.5 million dollars of debt, in which I would NEVER be able to pay with my firefighter's salary. My uncle referred me to Mr. Schwartz, and I am more than satisfies with the results. It was a great relief to walk into his office, which is truly a "Judgement Free" zone. The office staff are friendly and courteous. The BEST part of the process is the payment terms. I was allowed to make payments via paypal, with NO PRESSURE. There are no files all over the place, your sensitive information is all digital so you can feel secure. Everyone in the office is 100% efficient and accountable and Michael follows through with every detail, and his promise, as advertised on his website, the best there is! I had a call with Michael Schwartz today about bankruptcy for a family member who was going through a tough time. I am so glad we called Michael. He ended up recommending that we not file bankruptcy at all, turning down the business, because that was the right thing for us as potential clients and the right thing in general. He patiently answered all of our questions about the very unusual situation we faced, even after it was clear we wouldn't become paying clients.
