I am very passive and fearful. I always get taken advantage of. James Lenihan won't allow someone to take advantage of in court, he fights for you and justice. He really watched out for me. I trust his expertise. Thanks Jim

Honest, relentless, resourceful. These are the first few adjectives that come to mind when thinking of James Lenihan. Upon hearing about Mr. Lenihan from a trusted friend, my initial reaction was that he sounded passionate and compassionate. By the end of our first phone conversation, I was ecstatic to feel "heard" by someone who could actually help me. Mr. Lenihan listened to me and immediately produced a logical, systematic course of action representing my best interests. This was a welcome surprise after months of dealing with closed doors, ineffective counsel, and zero results. As we continue to work together, I remain in awe of how fortune I am to have him representing me. Having dealt with multiple law firms regarding a variety of issues over the past decade or so, my highest recommendation goes to Mr. Lenihan. His breadth and depth of knowledge is extensive and multi-faceted. His network of colleagues is far-reaching. However, what makes Mr. Lenihan stand head and shoulders above the rest, is observing him in the courtroom. Brilliant is an understatement. Anyone would be hard pressed to find a better advocate, attorney, or human. Jimmy is the best. You can trust your life in his hands, literally and figuratively. He is an everyday hero.

This so called attorney should be disbarred!! I’m still suffering from a divorce, that this man handled. First, every time he appeared in court, he was late and unprepared. Second, he never depositioned my ex-wife. Every time I asked him, his answer was. I don’t know. Third, just before the trial, he left me, to go skiing in Italy and had another lawyer, who knew nothing about my case take care of it. The end result was. I had to pay 9 yrs alimony and child support. 2950.00 per month. I only make 110k a year. I now was put in section 8, because Mr. Lenihan got his license from a Cracker Jack box. After getting screwed so badly by this man. I’ve decided to investigate. I spoke to many lawyers who know him. They all said, he is horrible. I also spoke to some judges who know him. They all said that he has a habit of being unprepared. Stay away from him. He couldn’t get you out of a parking ticket.

I had a case some time ago and Mr.Lenihan waa rwcimmended to me by a mutual friend. I was impressed by his professionalism and his reasonable charges as I am not a wealthy person. Before time, he was able to resolve my situation. He is very knowledgeable and understanding. I fully recommend him to anyone who needs a great lawyer!!

James is the best lawyer I have had thus far. I came to him about my case because a family friend recommened him, he said he would take my case head on and win my case. He made sure that every decision that was made was for my best interest and my sons. Mr. Lenihan represent me in a civil suite against NYS where they tired to get the case thrown out but because of his expertise we went to trail and won. It took several years but we did it.
