Nicole Walker was kind even when I called for something that may seem pretty minuscule to those practicing law. She took her time and explained everything to me and gave really good advice whilst making sure I understood the entirety of my situation.

I was looking for a reputable Lawyer who knew gun laws in NYS. I was recommended Tilem & Associates by my own attorney and a few others. Gave me a great consultation and went over everything with me regarding the current state of NY with their strict gun laws. It wasn't what I wanted to hear (I was denied a carry permit), but speaking with them and going over everything, I can say I am better informed now. And one of the things I wanted to mention, was even though of course they could have taken my case and taken my money, they were up front with me and with the odds of me winning the appeal and for this... inTRUST them. I recommend anyone with any sort of arrests or misdeamoners consult with them before applying. It possibly could save you hundreds (if not thousands) and let them do the paperwork for you! Peter and Rob did an amazing job preparing me for my pistol permit hearing. At first I was convinced I would not win. Having a laundry list of prior minor offenses is not what NY state wants to see when applying for a permit. After prepping with Rob I finally had some hope. He gave me all the necessary information needed for me to prepare myself. We went to court and I knew exactly what to say , not say and things to talk about. In the end ,,,, I was given my permit and I HIGHLY suggest anyone going through anything similar to give these guys a call. Very smart , friendly and knowledgeable. After a series of life changes, I needed legal advice and assistance to navigate three different legal matters that were very new to me and my family.
