After a very, very lengthy custody battle which lasted almost 5 grueling, emotionally draining years, It is finally over thanks to Andrea! She is tough, fair and doesn’t beat around the bush. She will tell you how it is. During this complicated, in-depth case, we had to navigate through many different situations in which Andrea implemented different tactics which essentially helped us come out in top. David was amazing as well and helped us out quickly in many sticky situations! Thanks again to the whole staff, they were fantastic and helped me regain my peace on many different occasions . I absolutely will be using Andrea again if need be because I feel very comfortable with her representing me. And that’s very important.

After my wife and child were in a car accident I called around to several firms to see what our best course of action was. His honest and empathetic approach to our situation felt genuine and never once was he pushing us to pursue legal action. I applied for SSDI on 12/6/22 and was denied on 1/25/23. Filed Reconsideration on 2/3/23 and was denied on 4/3/23. Filed Appeal on 4/17/23 and decided to find an attorney to assist with the appeal. I attempted the first two stages on my own because I was 54 years old, 100% disabled veteran (Critical Case), and have advanced education. Statistically, most people get denied at the first two stages, but you have the best chance of approval during the appeal stage. $7,200 may sound like a lot of money, but I would receive $400,000 over the years until I turn 66, so the attorney expense was minimal if you look at the big picture. I felt I had filed solid paperwork on my own in the first two stages, but lost. The Disability Guys (Brian Mittman) and staff reviewed all of my submitted paperwork and enhanced everything I submitted with more legal terminology. During the hearing, Attorney Mittman efficiently handled all questions from the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ). The Vocational Specialist only was asked one question during the hearing. Are there any jobs that he can perform, and the Vocational Specialist replied, “No.” As I mentioned, I initially filed on 12/6/22, but I retired from my job on 8/31/21 due to my disabilities. My SSDI was approved effective 9/1/21. My retroactive check went back further than I anticipated. You only get one chance at your appeal, so I highly recommend the Disability Guys and staff to professionally assist you with your claim!!!

Cabanillas and Associates is firm that lacks transparency and demonstrates no urgency towards your case. I felt Scammed By far is one of the most unprofessional law firms I have ever worked with. I paid a large amount if money for my case to be reviewed, they said it would take 7 days , but a month later and my case never was looked at . I asked for my money back do to the lack of interest in my case and Mr Cabanilla and his associate never answered calls or texts. Very unprofessional!!!! And unfortunately looking at the reviews this people are use to doing this to people, my question is why are they still practicing??
