I called this office to discuss a potential medical malpractice case and the male attorney I spoke with told me the firm would not be taking on my case and then just hung up on me. The receptionist was kind but I would proceed with caution when calling for consults....

After I was rear-ended in a car accident, I contacted Gelber & O'Connell. One of the attorneys promptly called and helped me navigate through the legal maze in a kind and professional way. I had suffered neck, back, and hip injuries, but the attorneys and their competent staff were patient and compassionate as we worked through the lengthy process. I had been T-boned in yet another accident several years before and had retained a different firm. The difference between that firm and Gelber is enormous. While I was greatly disappointed by the other firm, Stephanie and Herschel Gelber were extremely attentive, knowledgable and offered superior legal counsel.
