We completed a complicated Co-op closing that was months in the making, and I'm not sure it would have happened at all without the work of Lav Patel of James Dibbini & Assoc. Lav was so responsive to all our problems and issues, and there were many, and kept a level head when some other parties involved did not. Every time something came up, I knew after talking with Lav that I would feel better about it! His patience, perseverance, and attention to detail was so important to us, and to the successful completion of this closing. Well done, and thanks Lav.

My experience with the JDibbini law firm has been very positive up to this point. My tenant/landlord eviction case was a difficult one, but Mr. Yadav was most helpful as a mediator who negotiated a settlement that was an acceptable compromise for each side. I am a widow. I depend upon the rentals from a two family home to keep food on my table. I have been struggling with one of my tenants almost from the day she moved in. She exhausted me with her repeated excuses and lies. After her lease ran out she refused vacate the apartment. Then she stopped paying rent. I hired the Dibbini law firm to assist me in an eviction and then COVID shut the Courts. Even though I am small potatoes to this firm - they treated me like any more prestigious client. I had a wonderful intake with Mr. Dibbini, who laid out exactly what I could expect. Then his associate, Engelberg (!) sent me more information, and we had a longer interview. He also ran through what to expect and encouraged me to call anytime. The Dibbini firm got me into Court within days of its reopening. During the proceeding (I wasn't needed) I received a call from Ali, the attorney who was actually in court, and we negotiated everything on the phone with the tenant. The bottom line is that Dibbini got an agreement signed by the tenant for ALL the rent I am owed, and an agreement to pay in the future. With or without COVID, the Dibbini law practice protected my interests now and in the future. We are not quite through yet (the check hasn't cleared), but every person I dealt with couldn't have been nicer, or kinder, or more understanding. Evictions are stressful on everyone, but I felt comfortable handing the case over to these Pros. They really know what they're doing, and the have great customer service. Choose Dibbini: you couldn't be in better hands. REVIEW PART 2: To follow through, the tenant above bugged out on the agreement, so we had to go back to court. But the outcome was VICTORY! Eviction and Judgment filed yesterday! This was so tough - opposing counsel delayed and delayed to buy time for his clients. The crew assigned from Dibbini were always professional, always on time, always knew the law (were pretty sharp dressers), and gave me confidence from the start we would win. With the courts shut down and the law leaning towards the tenant at every junction, Dibbini was relentless, and eventually won all that I was owed and a well deserved eviction as well. Kunal Yadav was my lead attorney - smart and knowledgeable. Somebody you really want in your corner. He was able to explain all the necessary details (in NYS - that's A LOT); I also worked with attorney Matthew Aqeel assisting Kunal, running the numbers and doing the math to make sure we got it all right; legal assistant Alex Kulkarni was there assembling all the documents, and even wrote some narrative, I think. Easy to talk to - good listener. A better team could not be found, nor a more splendid outcome. So why aren't you calling Dibbini? This is, believe me, money well spent. Now I get to call the Marshal. Yippee!

I can't express how grateful I am for the results that James Dibbini and his firm were able to accomplish. They did an incredible job. I was in a terrible situation with my landlord - long story short, I had no heat, hot water, or cooking gas for me and my 7 year old son in the middle of the coldest months in winter. This lasted for 3 months. I needed to move to a new place, but I also needed to break my current lease and try to get my security deposit back. James and his team fought tooth and nail for me and my son. He did get me out of my lease, and got my security deposit returned without having to go to court.
