Mr.Charlie Browne is the man, great lawyer and great service

Don't, just don't. We have used Bell and Browne, specifically Mr. Browne and his assistant Tana, in the past. My husband found Mr. Browne years ago to put together documents that any good attorney would have given him advice on. Instead charged around $500 just to type up documents. Most recently of this current year we paid Mr. Brownes office $750 to go to court and regain funds due to us from an individual (3 payments). We have only received two out of the three payments we paid Mr. Browne to recoup for us from said individual. Upon trying to get the third payment, Note: this has been going on since February. After multiple e mails to their office, we have only received one phone call back, and several ignored e mails as to where our remaining funds are. Use another attorneys office in Asheboro. The high prices here and poor deliveries do not suffice.

Charles Brown is beyond unprofessional. As a client who was represented by him court appointed, from the first meeting with him in his office he was rude, dismissive, careless of feelings, and beyond emotionless. Never called me, ever. Today in court we spoke in the room outside of court, and he was even WORSE than our only meeting in person. He couldn't even explain or get to what my plea deal was going to be before deciding to drop me from his case load. Told me I needed amger management when I was nowhere argumentative, or rude like he was. I told him he was the worst & most disrespectful counsel I've ever had & told him i wanted to fire him. Then the judge proceeds to say that it's not right that I'm seeking another court appointed lawyer because "that's what taxpayers money goes too". On top of making a mockery of his own courtroom to individuals who were in jail saying "what contestant do we have next." I am a tax paying citizen in Randolph county first off. Second off I work everyday just like they do if not more. To be treated this way today was beyond absurd. I was treated better by all the judicial counsel in Guilford county while in front of the judge in a red segregation jumpsuit. The level of disregard for Mr Brown's client's is insane how he even represents anyone. It is the client's freedom in jeopardy, not a dollar sign on their face........
