Absolute worst attorney. Maybe it was my fault for scrambling and not knowing anything about lawyers but y'all should be aware of how he cheated me out of $5000. Custody case took over a year to get to court, over a week prior to the court date I told Sherri that I could not travel from my home state due to health issues and told her I could get my Dr to send a note or even get in touch with them or the judge. She said it shouldn't be necessary but would let me know. I never heard back from her. The day of court I was in the hospital and since I never heard back from either Sherri nor Ted I assumed they moved the court date. When I was released from the hospital that night when my blood pressure and heart rate was stable enough, I was informed through email that I lost the court case due to not showing up. I wasn't refunded any money or given any options to make this right so not only did I lose my children but I also was out 5000 dollars. When I called Ted to speak to him he was incredibly rude, cussed at me and told me it was my fault for not showing up. Didn't even know that I had informed Sherri that my Dr wouldn't allow me to travel and didn't seem to care that if I had in fact been driving up there for court I would have bled out on the interstate if I couldn't have found a hospital or could have wrecked from being lightheaded due to blood loss. I'll just throw out there that the 3 scheduled phone meetings we had set up during this time, he never did call. I had to call Sherri and set up other times which is just irresponsible of anybody. If you have ANY important cases that need an attorney, do NOT use Ted. I have honestly never in my life come across another individual that was so ugly, rude, and inconsiderate as he was to me, especially acting/talking that way to someone who paid him TWICE his normal rate. Disgusting at best.

First of all, I want to emphasize how serious I am with leaving reviews. You can rest assured that all of my reviews are humbly honest. After all, all we have is one's testimony to reference in hopes of making better choices in life. With that being said, here is MY REVIEW: I have 0 complaints with Messer Law Firm. Al, in particular, has an overall pleasing personality. He is very professional and yet serious about his work. He doesn't take your case lightly, regardless of how Petty or serious your charges/situation may be. I would like to note that I had contacted several other different lawyers and none gave me a full satisfaction as Al had. Some lawyers would interrupt me while I was attempting to speak (very rude), while others would fail to provide satisfactory explanation as to what I could expect for my case. They would just seem very "cut off" from the conversation. Overall, most of them gave me a general feeling that they didn't care too much about my case. Some would even take days to reach back to me. Thankfully, after rigously searching for a proper lawyer, I found Al Messer. From the very start he was nothing less than professional. I found him via, you guessed it, Google reviews. From there I checked out his website which is very appealing considering he provides a fairly lengthy sample list of cases he has won. I then emailed his office a hour or so after they had closed. I received a call the very next day from one of his associates to ensure that Al would contact me later that day. As promised, I received a call from Al. Unfortunately my phone's ringer doesn't work so I missed this call. After trying to call back I sent him a text. He texted back and long story short he consulted with me over the weekend! That's how serious he takes his business. When we were talking on the phone my phone kept disconnecting. We must have reconnected at least 5 different times. Now you can expect someone to get at least slightly irritated with that unfortunate mess but he remained calm and professional from beginning to end. You may be thinking I'm babbling on about our phone calls but the point is that he remains professional even during unfavorable circumstances. Little things such as this defines character and makes a huge difference in hiring a great or average lawyer. You don't want someone that gets easily frustrated as one can not perform at his best with disorganized, uncontrolled, thoughts and feelings. At court he got my case dropped like a boss that he is. As far as the financial situation goes...Al will work with you. Yes, he may be a bit more expensive than others in comparison..but he will work with you better than the cheaper lawyers would ..that way you can afford a lawyer AND get the BEST...not the average. Al Messer is a highly respected lawyer. Don't just take my word for it. Do your research. Visit his websites, talk to other lawyers. I am confident that you will agree with me in the end. In conclusion to this extremely lengthy review.... My two cents advises you to go with (Al) Messer Law 100%.

Al Messer and Sara are both amazing. They were able to help me take care of something now that happened a long time ago. Everything dropped and expunged. This was around the holidays so they suspected it may take longer to resolve, but was able to push it through. Very quick and efficient. 1,000 stars if I was able!
