I am a criminal defense attorney who worked with Ted on the case Kelly W. complained about. He got the ADA to go from an starting offer of 6.5 years for a serious kidnapping case reduced to only 2.5 years. We worked very hard, but Ted really deserves the credit for negotiating an amazing result. I was impressed. I have known Ted for almost 15 years, both as a prosecutor and as a defense attorney, and I have found him to be a very hardworking and effective trial attorney.

Called to get a consultation 5 times... left my number each time..got the same response... he's not available right now but I will make sure to have him call you back.. funny I am still waiting and this was a month and a half ago... seems like he doesn't want money so if I were you I would find a more proactive attorney

If I could give this place no stars and do the review I would. Buyer beware...this guy seemed to have worked against my son who he was supposed to have been defending the entire time he had the case.
If you want someone to argue w/ and tell you about how he's won other cases but doesn't seem to be fighting yours, he is the guy for the job. While he may be good for traffic court he definitely dropped the ball on my son's case.

Hands-down, the best!!! I called numerous attorneys, and was told I would be called back. I never received a callback from any of the others. I called Messer law firm, and within 15 minutes Sara called back. It took only 10 minutes to explain my situation and Sara had a remedy!!! Don’t bother wasting your time with any other office, this is your one stop shop! Thanks for all you have done Sara!!!!!

Al Messer hands down is one the BEST LAWYERS in asheville. He reassured me f any questions I had. Made sure I know the next step in the my court process, always keeping me in loop. Very Very Highly Recommend!!
I have had the best experience i have had in my lifetime with any court system got felonies dropped to low grade misterminor with un-reporting P.O. I have also been returned the thousands buncombe county seized as evidence he is honest and informative and prompt.
He is the only paid lawyer I will ever have if any criminal situations shall ever cross my path again
