Victory Corley was my attorney and I was not pleased with her. She canceled appointments and would not return calls. She didn’t even come to to mediation,but sent someone I had never talked to before. The bills were outrageous. I would not recommend this firm to anyone.

Doug and his assistant at Edwards Law were the nicest, most helpful people I have ever met!! They actually care about you and want to help, they had all of my things taken care of and handled within a few days of me calling and I didn’t even have to physically be there. They did everything! Super great people, I’m so glad I chose them!

Doug Edwards is an absolutely amazing lawyer. He truly cares about his clients and works hard to make sure they receive the very best outcome possible. Both Doug and his paralegal, Sherri, were quick to respond any time I contacted the firm, and this greatly helped to relieve my stress and anxiety. I live in South Carolina but was staying in Asheville to attend a concert with a friend when things went awry, and I ended up in an unbelievably horrible, confusing, and traumatizing situation. Thankfully, I hired Doug Edwards as he has vast experience in the criminal justice system. I had four charges in two different courts in Buncombe County, and I was traumatized. I live out of state and 2.5 hours away from the court and Edwards Law which added an extra layer of stress and inconvenience to my situation. Doug and Sherri went above and beyond to help me. Doug was able to get all four of my charges dismissed and I only had to drive to/from Asheville twice. Doug then filed my expungement right away. This was hands down the best outcome possible!! I was a naive travel RN that was facing very serious allegations and never had any experience in the Justice system or NC for that matter. He exceeded my expectations and will give you the complete truth and his professionalism and ethics was a light a dark world of false allegations. Case dismissed and chapter closed. Ms. Reed was extremely knowledgeable in equitable distribution of marital property and divorce. She was able to get a settlement agreement in mediation, without having to go to court. She was easy to work with and always available for questions. I would, 100%, recommend her for legal matters.

We recently had King Law do wills for my wife and me. We had a very pleasant experience with all the staff we interacted with. The lawyer, Tai Hensley, was responsive, knowledgeable, and had excellent communication skills. Though it was only a “simple will” it still contained lots of legal terms and phrasings many of which were unfamiliar to us; Ms. Hensley gave very clear explanations in layman’s language. She took her time with us, and even went through the extra trouble of sending us a pdf of our online correspondence when I happened to mention that their online app didn’t allow us print out our correspondence, which contained her clear answers and clarifications, and which I wanted to save for future reference. I would use these guys again, for sure, but, of course, I hope I never have to!

Brian from this law firm is an absolute clown. Don’t know what he’s doing. He will take your money and won’t do the correct job to get things done and then turn around and demand more money. Don’t waste your time with these clowns.
