A series of unfortunate events, and a couple really stupid decisions, lead me to the point where filing for bankruptcy became my only fiscally prudent option. Confused and embarrassed, I reached out to Patrick for assistance in filing Ch.13. From the very beginning, Patrick was nothing but professional, encouraging and patient. After making doubly sure with me that bankruptcy was how I wanted to proceed, he quelled all my fears and trepidations by explaining the entire situation and process with me. It’s never a good thing to have to accept you colossally screwed up. However, it’s a lot easier to swallow your pride and accept reality when the person helping you is as close to a “friend” as you can get in this type of situation. I had a tough case with a long history. I was almost buried and in a last ditch attempt I contact Patrick. After a very casual conversation he got my information and told me he would call me with further instructions. I was able to make payments on his fees and at no point did he or his staff make me feel inadequate for filing for bankruptcy. A few months later I had to go into court I answered a few questions and boom it was written off. I felt like I had someone who would help me and I was able to start fresh. My credit score is now almost 700 I have multiple credit cards and I was just today approved for an apartment in So Cal. He was extremely proactive in the situation having me gather paperwork that MAY be needed just so he could supply it when it was asked for rather than waiting on me to acquire it. Patrick is amazing at his job! I have never hired such a diligent and intelligent lawyer. He is extremely prompt with replies, even on the weekends he would write a quick email. I, for once, did not have to do the paperwork and give to him. He completed it in a couple days and filed my Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. He was able to take care of a pending judgement in the amount of $27k and also a speeding violation. I anticipated this drag out forever, but everything should be finalized in November.
