I had a situation that I wasn't sure if I needed an attorney or not. Thankfully, I don't, but I was surprised by how quick and efficient Mr. Amburgey and his staff were! From the first call to his receptionist, to Mr. Amburgey's call back to me to understand the situation, I was very impressed. He took the time out of his busy day to discuss what was going on and to help me, and I greatly appreciate it. The confidence and professionalism were top notch! Thank you!

Horrible experience. Our associate did not show up to the consultation. We had to get another person to stand in for her, who was not prepared. Never heard from our lawyer until the day before the court case was to be heard by the judge. Lawyer barely said a word during the trial and of course we lost-- who wouldn't? Lawyer said she would be in touch to go over other options in the next few days-- never heard back. We called them, just to be told that our lawyer was now on vacation. Never heard a word after that. Do not give these people your money. There are better law offices out there who are way more professional. EDIT so I can respond to King Law below: You don't have me on file because it is under my husband's name.

I hired Thomas on my first and only violent charges with high hopes. Turns out I had a witness that was able to discredit certain lies the victim was telling and Thomas wasn’t interested in defending me. I was slammed with charges, and yes I got no jail time but I have no chance to follow through with court consequences and get the charges lifted like most people are able to. Thomas didn’t want to put the time into my case and would rather please the DA, and he treated me like a criminal.
