It's always great to work with a strong, professional woman. Jennifer is honest almost to a fault. She doesn't make empty promises and will tell it like it is, which you need to hear, whether you like it or not. She is also incredibly smart. She is an expert in family law and and it shows. She considered my feedback and would tell me how realistic it was or was not. I had no problem sharing the reins with her.

I had a difficult case as my ex took our daughter and moved to North Carolina. I am in California. I was denied visitation so I hired Jennifer. I met her once. In that consultation she informed me that although difficult I should be able to get joint 50/50 custody. Most paperwork was done through email, postal mail with notaries and legal envelopes. All in all, I was given 50/50 custody and my daughter was given residency in both states. I couldn't of asked for anything more. The relief I was given by Jennifer and her assistant Flo was tremendous. I didn't have to appear in court as it was held in North Carolina.

Attorney Jennfier Moore and I had radically different perspectives on identical situations, especially the process between quality services expected and her billing practices. Attorney Jennifer Moore takes limited responsibility for her errors; quoted me one price in the office after a consultation but took no action for almost a month. When called to task, she demanded more money before any action would be taken even though I had a receipt of payment per our agreement. Once that had been settled, she sent a draft with errors that arrived so late as to be unusable but even then, she couldn’t differentiate between me as her paying client and wrote on a binding settlement that my spouse was her client - needles to say, quite an embarrassment. When asked for a partial refund, she was adamant all services were provided: a form-letter with errors that could not be used and was thankfully never sent because of the errors and dismal formatting. A totally worthless transaction that ultimately is going to cost me significant money because of her inability to respond with efficacy or efficiency. For those wanting quality legal services, my “opinion” is go anywhere but to Jennifer Moore.

I hired this attorney approximately three years ago. My review was not approved due to improper type of complaint. Therefore, I will simply say that you should look at her list of violations on the NC State Bar's website.

If you want to find a lawyer that will be an advocate for you and your case and really stand up for your best interests that then Jennifer is NOT the attorney you want to hire. Jennifer Moore is simply nothing more than a mediocre mediator. When my ex and I separated he wanted the home so I gave it to him and he signed an agreement that was included in the divorce that he was to pay for the home and any expenses that had to do with the home, he was not to incur any further depts. in joint liability and whomever broke the agreement was to pay the prevailing parties attorney fees. Over the course of 1.5 years he failed to make 4 mortgage payments and didn't pay any of the HOA fees. The home was facing foreclosure so I filed contempt and then hired Jennifer to assist me in taking possession of the home. We then began working with my ex's lawyer in settling this outside of court. During this time I e-mailed her multiple questions that were never answered and asked for either sit down or phone conversations to ensure we were on the same page. Her response was (via e-mail) "I'm sure I've never answered any of your questions" then went on to continue to not answer my questions and then when I asked to speak with her she asked via e-mail if it was really necessary. I advised that I wanted to recoup the attorney fees as I could rightfully do according to the agreement and that I wanted to ensure we noted in the agreement we were drawing up that he was not to claim the interest the following year. After telling me "I doubt he'll agree to that" in regards to getting the money for the attorney fees and over $700 in late fees on the home she eve Advocated for him saying "Shouldn't he be able to claim 4 months interest on his taxes?". NO he shouldn't have, he ruined my credit and was 4 months behind on the mortgage?!?!?! In the agreement it said he had to sign a quick claim deed by a certain date which was not done. I asked her about it prior to deadline and her response “It will get done if at all possible”. It was a court order!!!! So again he’s in contempt. The entire time she seemed to be advocating for the other team probably trying to stay in good graces or agreement with the other lawyer but that’s not what I hired her for. Her assistant Ginger was wonderful and she probably did more work on my case then Jennifer herself. Multiple times she asked me the same questions over and over again. I even went as far as updating the draft order myself because she wasn’t acknowledging anything I was asking her to incorporate. Once the order she created was once again not honored by my ex and his lawyer I released Jennifer as my council and did pro se. I’m confident I’ll have better results doing this myself than I did have or would have if I continued to utilize her as my counsel. On the plus side she was a pleasant person the one time I did talk with her face to face. She told me that she was impressed with how I had documented everything so well and from what I provided and what the original order stated he had no case (which he didn’t). Then after that she became a mediocre mediator.
