So we got a knock on the door at 8 AM on a Monday morning by two police officers looking for our son because he failed to show for a court date in Brunswick county. Our hearts dropped because we thought they were there to inform us he was in the morgue. We had no idea he ever even got the ticket in Oak Island when he was on vacation there. He lives in Wilmington we live in Raleigh. He’s a student in Wilmington and he couldn’t make his court date because he had a final exam Unfortunately he never rescheduled like he was supposed to. So we called Sullivan law and they helped us figure out what to do. Attorney Sullivan was able to bring proof of insurance and registration and was able to get the case dismissed and the FTA lifted. We could have hired them months before if our son was upfront with us but he was scared of disappointing us. We never would have been able to do this in our own and we would’ve have to drive three hours and miss work. We are so appreciative of his help and it was so easy and we did most of our communication through email. We would highly recommend if you ever get a ticket in that county.
