Take a step back in time where lawyers were interested in the public good. You might meet this father and son duo who are honest and helpful. Surprising and refreshing. Zeb helped advise on an issue, but more than that he was down to earth and his character instilled strength through the pursuit of truth and justice. This is the American way, so worthy of support.

I wish there was a real rating system for lawyers with real statistics showing how effective they actually are. I would bet that Smathers and Smathers would hold the record in the entire State of NC for dragging out cases. Settled cases don't earn fees. It's a disgrace.
