Mr. McCabe and his entire staff were professional, warm, caring and did an excellent job with my case. My case was complicated. Mr. McCabe was thorough and seemed to know every detail of my accident and my recovery journey. I think he memorized my medical history from the accident! The entire office was compassionate and reassuring which allowed me to focus on healing and not having to focus on my legal case. I was the front seat passenger, snugly belted in, when the driver seemed to freeze at the wheel. The car left a Virginia back road, the driver’s foot pressing down on the gas pedal, and only a group of trees stopped it. I was grateful that we didn’t hurtle down into one of the ravines on the other side of that winding road! After two ambulance rides and two hospitalizations (one in Virginia, one in Cary), some weeks passed. I was trying to get back on my feet, but not having much success in spite of lots of doctors’ visits, rehab, and even spine therapy, when the email and real mail started to come from the driver’s insurance company. Would I sign this and would I agree to that. It was a relief to just hand the problems over to John and Gloria (his amazing paralegal). The settlement they reached for me was much more than I ever imagined. I am so grateful that my medical bills are finally paid, and there was a large check for me as well. “The money is meant to make you whole,” John and Gloria told me. That wholeness might not happen, some things are just permanent and a part of my days now – but the rest of my life will surely be easier because of their hard work.
