Attorney Duffy Palmer is a caring lawyer who makes the estate planning process as easy as it can possibly be. He goes beyond the call of duty to make sure that you and your loved ones are taken care of. And he has a good sense of humor which gives some much-needed levity to the process. Mr. Palmer help me set up a trust, living will and various other legal documents a few years ago. The trust is a very powerful and needed document that needs to be explained on my level. Attorney Duffy Palmer is very caring, knowledgeable, and professional. He is attentive and understanding of your needs and concerns. He answers your questions and gives the best possible advice.....if he doesn't know the answer, he will do research and get back with you right away. Duffy lets you know he is available to assist with whatever you need. It is especially thoughtful when he sends an email or text just to check in with you to see how you are doing and how things are progressing.

This review is a bit delayed; however I want to share the exquisite service received by Mr. Palmer. He truly went above and beyond to ensure that documents were legally obtained within a timely manner before my late mother passed over the summer. Without going into the details, my mother unexpectedly got sick and within two months of diagnoses passed during the pandemic. Duffy made time to have multiple phone calls and zoom meeting with the family to ensure my mothers trust would be legal established as well as POA and other documentation to override a previously established trust from when my brother and I were younger. Ultimately, Duffy had to meet us at the hospital at a peak, only one-visitor at a time pandemic lock-down, in the pouring rain, in the evening time, and got himself and two witnesses in to sign all the documents written up to my mother's wishes and satisfaction. While this has all been very hard and difficult to write, as memories of my mother's unfortunate health issue and loss of her vibrant smile over the holidays, Duffy truly made the paperwork side of this all extremely easy and legally binding. He made himself available after for questions and directed us appropriately for questions he wasn't legally comfortably answering (mostly tax stuff). All in all, I had to go through the Estate process when my father passed 15 years ago and it was a nightmare, costly, and took 2.5 years to close. With Duffy's knowledge, expertise, and guidance we were able to avoid the probate process and use all the additional materials he provided to make it all happen within weeks. Some of the banks/institutions surprisingly pushed-back on some of the documentation, but I believe it's because everything transpired so quickly with my mom's health that we went from Power of Attorney's to Beneficiaries and were signing other documentation on my mom's behalf. In conclusion, all the of the documentation was accepted and allowed my brother and I to accomplish exactly what my mother wished with her health and finances, which just speaks to the professional services provided. If you need any type of estate planning, I couldn't recommend Palmer Estate enough.

Duffy Palmer was a Godsend for our family. After my Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, my sisters and I knew we needed to review and update my parents will and legal documents. My parents were very organized and had a will, but as we learned from Duffy, we needed to update the will following changes in the law and also develop an estate plan including a trust to protect all that my dad had worked so hard for throughout his life. Duffy traveled out of town to meet in person with my parents, myself and my sister. Duffy was kind, professional and patient with us answering all of our questions. He was easy to talk to and made us feel at ease during this process. He helped my parents with decisions that will protect their assets in the event that long term care might be needed, end of life decisions, and protection for the inheritance that they want to pass on to their children and grandchildren. With Duffy's professional lifetime services, our family now has peace of mind that decisions have been made that will honor our parents wishes for their remaining time here with us and after they are called Home. I highly recommend Duffy Palmer to anyone who is seeking a professional lawyer who genuinely wants to help families grow stronger through estate planning.
