Amy helped us after my mom passed navigating the state requirements to become an executor for her estate, do what is required for probate, and finally distribute her estate as per her wishes in her will. She is also going to be our estate lawyer after this dust has settled. She's wonderful, and has held our hands throughout the process, carefully answering questions and in this time when a loved one passes, offering her grace and empathy. What we recommend is that EVERYONE AT GLENAIRE meet with her right away, to make sure your estate is in order and your plans are exactly what you want - because she is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER FROM YOU. I *thought* my mother's plans were in order but learned they were not after she passed. Please make sure you work with Amy so this doesn't happen to you.

My wife and I set up a revocable family trust with Privette Legacy Planning. We set up a consultation meeting with Amy. We felt that Amy had the expertise and great attitude to put together a trust for us. She exhibited a great amount of patience with us as she translated legal terms in our trust to plain English! We’re glad we finally moved ahead with her firm. We felt the price we paid for her services was fair. Amy’s assistant, Sara, supported us during the entire process. Amy wanted to be sure our documents were set up properly and that our assets were named properly to the trust. This office even assisted us in filling out the paperwork to transfer most of our holdings to the trust. This is quite a process, so this help meant a lot to us. It was a pleasure working with this firm.

We highly recommend Amy Privette for estate planning. We had a will and estate plan from twenty years ago. Our family and the laws have changed much in those years. Amy did an excellent job explaining the estate planning process. She walked us through the various options available. In addition, Amy provided examples and scenarios so we could see the benefits and limitations of various estate planning tool options. Amy interpreted the legal speak for us. She was patient with us when we had questions and answered each question thoroughly. We feel confident with our estate plans.

We moved here from California and we’re told by our financial advisor at Edward Jones that our will may not be valid in North Carolina and to contact Amy for help. We did and she drew up a new will for us that is valid in this state. She is great to work with and we feel very glad that she was recommended to us.

I hired Amy Privette to establish a revocable living trust for me following my recent divorce. She was highly recommended to me by my financial advisor, and I was extremely satisfied with her professionalism, competence, and attention to detail throughout the process. She is very organized, was always clear about the steps leading to the trust completion and what needed to be done next, as well as answwering any questions I had along the way. We mainly communicated through calls and emails since I live outside the Raleigh area. She genuinely desires to put together a trust/will suited to your individual needs and family circumstances. Once the trust document was completed, and after reviewing it first through email, I met with her in person and went over everything in detail. I appreciated the comprehensive set of instructions for funding the trust, and the organized binder with all the essential documents inside. Following an initial recommendation from an investment advisor, my husband and I chose Privette Legacy Planning. This was both due to cost and the fact that, based on an interview, Amy appeared thorough, knowledgeable, motivated, and calm. Within two months after my husband signed his documents, I had to call on Amy to provide estate services. I was very lucky which is an understatement to have Amy referred to me by a family friend. I was and am still so grateful for the referral because Amy turned out to be all that I could possible hope for in a lawyer and more! I met with Amy because my father had passed away and I needed a lawyer to help with his estate. Upon meeting Amy, I knew I was in the best hands possible, she literally came to my rescue and took care of every detail of the estate for me from opening up the estate to closing the estate. Imagine having to prepare a Will&Trust within a short period of time after your loved one's diagnosed with cancer? There's so much to think about and so many details that it seems completely overwhelming and frankly impossible! Amy's very professional, knowledgeable, thorough, patient and most of all caring. She walked us step-by-step, in a respectful manner, using examples and discussing scenarios that never occurred to us. She made sure all of our "I's" were dotted and "T's" were crossed. She responds quickly to any calls,emails and is always pleasant. It is without reservation that I recommend her to family, friends and neighbors. As a matter of fact, a couple of my friends/neighbors are currently working with Amy. They have all had very positive feedback about her and the work she does.

Our work with Amy to establish our wills, powers of attorney and trusts was a very positive experience. She educated us on how to best structure our documents especially the trusts. Great experience with Amy. I am 39 yr. old male, married with 2 children. With our kids being toddlers, my wife and I thought it was time to put things in place in case the worse happened. We did not know where to start and Amy guided us through the complex world of estate planning. Even if you don't have an estate like us, you need a professional pointing out the pitfalls of not having your decisions on record and detailing how your affairs should be handled for your self and family.
