Mr. Jetton is an ace at the game. Having to get a lawyer is never a good thing but if it ever comes to that, the price is worth it for his service. Mark Jetton is a miracle worker! He represented me on two occasions for charges that (to me) were indefensible and a sure conviction. He got both dismissed without me ever having to even stand before the judge! Not only that but during the whole process Mark and his staff made me feel comfortable and never lectured me or treated me like a criminal. My son was pulled over and given a dwi and texting while driving on a holiday weekend. We called Mark Jetton and he returned our call on that same day. He listened carefully to understand and told us in detail what to expect. He was able to get my son’s driver’s license back within 2 days without having any insurance impacts. He then did thorough research reviewing the video evidence as well as talking with the cop gathering numerous evidence that proved that this arrest should not have occurred. Although the process took time, the outcome was a complete dismissal of all charges. Mark impressed me with how he knew the law and understood the dynamics of the court room. Mark Jetton delivered more than what he promised. Mark said he could get a speeding ticket reduced. The results were even better, he was able to get it changed to improper equipment which meant no points or insurance rate increase! Mark Jetton is awesome! God forbid I ever need another lawyer but this would be my first choice and first recommendation for anyone. I ran into some trouble that carried a mandatory sentence which was a marijuana trafficking charge that had me losing my mind. I actually called Mark on a Friday night and he came back into his office to speak with me. We sat down and went over everything and he told me that we would need to take everything one step at a time. The case prolonged for months with Mark getting it DISMISSED as well as getting my probation violation thrown out along with having my probation ultimately TERMINATED. Worth every penny!!!!! My estranged wife found herself to be the accused in a Domestic Violence case that never should have been brought by the State. However, because of the binary way our DV laws are written and because they are very necessary to protect the welfare of those who truly are victims of DV, she was in very big trouble…regardless of the circumstances. Rather than use the pro-bono services of a Public Defender, she retained counsel privately on the strength of a recommendation from a friend. As I inquired around, the feedback I got worried me that her attorney might not be strong enough in this area of criminal law or understand the NC Court system well enough to mount an appropriate defense. I engaged Mark to assist in her defense. After our first meeting and from that point forward, I felt like Mark was all over it…like the mission he was charged with in defending her was his most important. He was competent, confident, kept me completely engaged in strategy and updated me regularly on progress in negotiations with the DA’s office. He also collaborated extremely well with the other Attorney she had already engaged. More importantly, I was completely confident in Mark’s commitment to a positive outcome, and in his ability to get it. Once he dug in…which was right away…I knew I had the right Attorney. In the end, the case never saw a courtroom, and Mark was single-handedly successful in getting the case against her dismissed in its entirety. Not many Attorneys I’ve known or worked with over the years are both exceptionally good at what they do AND able to really inspire their clients confidence. Mark does both extremely well, and while I’m hopeful I never need to engage him in a similar matter again in the future, I would…in a New York minute.
