I have know Attorney Trotman to be the consummate professional for the entire 17 years that I have known her. She takes pride in being the best at what she does, and is passionate about any and everything that she agrees to be apart of. She is high respected by her professional peers, and highly sought after by individuals who seek to be defended criminally, on family matters, or in civil matters. The residents of Mecklenburg County elected her to fill a District Court Judge seat, and she served in that capacity with great respect and honor. She made the command decision to leave the bench, and return to private practice. This was done, simply because it was the only way that she could return to her passion, which is working with the youth, with "iSpeak". "iSpeak" is a program that she founded several years ago, that allows middle and high school young adults a chance to get acclimated the the court system, the inner workings, and the responsibility of each individual in the court theater. Attorney Trotman built a flourishing legal practice prior to being elected to being a District Court Judge. Once she returned to private practice, she built an extremely successful law practice for a second time. The only way that would be possible, is by providing an excellent work product, day in and day out, week in and week out, month in and month out, year in and year out. Yolanda Trotman is AMAZING!!! She is very professional and she doesn't play any games when it comes to her work. I obtained her for an ongoing tax issue that I had. She is very informative in all categories! She resolved the issues with no problem at all! I would hire her again without any hesitation!

With the understanding that it’s still COVID & a lot of businesses are experiencing hardships right now, I have been trying to get in contact with someone at this office for almost two weeks. When you call during business hours no one answers the phone or returns phone calls after leaving a detailed message as instructed on the recording.

This attorney is money driven and has a terrible professional presentation. He was unprepared for the case and embarrassed us with his germaphobe behavior. Dont waste your money!

Someone I know stated he is highly unprofessional, unreliable, and biased towards his own clients. He did not provide any outcome with her case and dropped her after taking her money. She does not recommend hiring him.

I'm not able to reply directly to your response so I had to create another. It is very sad that instead of trying to come up with a solution to help the issue or try to get to the root of the matter you attack everyone who leaves a bad review. Not to mention threaten! Your services were inadequate and the review was honest! It is a shame that your response wasn't more reassuring! And while I was not an ACTUAL client of yours I personal READ YOUR RUDE AND DEMEANING MESSAGES, I PERSONALLY dealt with the tears through the years of several of your clients which is why several banded together to file a compliant against you. A word of advice dearest be kinder, care, and show mercy... the role you decided to take deals with real people and real situations and if you'd rather travel and fatten your pockets then pursue that career and STOP toying with the innocent lives of others!!!!!!
