I just want to say that Chris Shumate helped me so much with my first speeding ticket. From the moment we spoke about my case , he addressed all of my concerns and made me feel at ease about everything. Shumate assured me that we could get it all taken care of and the outcome would be in my favor. He is super affordable and should be paid even more for the time it took to resolve my case. I would recommend him to anyone! I’m not over exaggerating so if you need someone he’s the man for the job!

Chris was very professional and I felt very comfortable working with him. He kept me updated and informed on what to expect. He offered alternatives to the situations that arose, and possible results for each. He was very timely following up on actions to take. I contacted Chris after receiving his number from another attorney who doesn't practice this type of law. Chris was pleasant, effective, and efficient. I hired Mr. Shumate to represent me on a DWI in Charlotte. I was visiting from SC when I got pulled over and arrested. I contacted an attorney in my home town and asked him if he could refer me to an attorney in Charlotte. My local attorney recommended Mr. Shumate.
My case probably was not an easy one but he handled each facet of it with extraordinary care.

I called Mr Shumate to help me in a DUII charge in North Carolina. I live in Oregon. He was able to help me without me flying to NC. He actually had ALL the charges dismissed except for one failure to appear. I was VERY happy with the outcome that Mr Shumate was able to get for me. If I was ever in need of help in NC again I would definately call him.
