Lillie was recommended to me by a friend of mine and I couldn't be happier with her. From the first meeting I knew she was on my side. This was my first experience in divorce/child custody and she was able to take an uncomfortable situation and make it about as comfortable as I would imagine it can be. I hired Lillie to represent me concerning an expired child support order that was garnishing payments every pay period. Lillie was a tremendous help in ensuring the following: -Order to Terminate Child Support was back-dated, and filed with the Clerk of Court. -Passport blocks were removed from my account. -Overpayment of child support was refunded to me. -Order to Terminate Child Support was sent to my employer to stop future garnishments. I Retained Lillie to help with separation and division of assets. Shortly after I was served with papers and then it turned into litigation and ended in mediation. Which ended very well for me because of Lillie. She is spot on ! Divorce is personal, but she takes that out of play and sticks to the facts and the law. I would highly recommend Lillie Ashworth if you are going through a separation/divorce. Lillie was able to connect me with DCRC and domestic abuse resources that proved to be extremely helpful. She helped me identify my highest priority goals with my separation and we were able to achieve these together. Lillie is very knowledgeable, realistic and honest. I can't say enough about how great of a job Lillie did with my case. From the very beginning when she asked what I was looking for in my custody case and why I thought that would be best, she stayed focused on my goal. Going to court for something as important as what I feel is best for my child wasn't easy. However Lillie was not only prepared the entire time, but kept me prepared and informed every step of the way. I'm not going to say that it was easy as I had several late nights working on what she needed me to provide. But all of that was worth it when we got the judges ruling in our favor and a couple weeks later, my daughter said that she likes the new schedule better than the old one. Lillie was amazing. She always kept me up to date. Explained everything to me in a timley manner and always was sure i was prepared for every situation.
