I have known Bill for about 15 years. Several years ago, I had a nasty felony DWI case in Asheville, and had hired a local criminal defense attorney in Buncombe County as co-counsel. He was useless, unfortunately, and he could not believe I was fighting a fourth offense DWI case, which occurred at a DUI checkpoint by a state patrol officer. I was really impressed with the professionalism and service I received from Powers McCartan this week. I was about to miss a court date due to my own mess up and I called hoping to get some help. They quickly connected me with Mr. Powers and after just a few minutes of conversation and swapping some info via email, he agreed to appear for me that day and then follow up with the results.
