Vernon has been absolutely amazing. A year and half after I had been injured at work and after receiving medical treatment, it was time to start the settlement process. I was given an offer and wasn't sure if it was good. I found The Sumwalt Group on Google and saw the 5 star reviews. I reached out to them to see if I could get some advice. Vernon was the one to call me and gave me some wonderful free advice on countering and what would be a good amount. He also looked over the settlement agreement I received to make sure it wouldn't mess up any potential social security/disability in the future. Vernon made me feel like he cared and like he wanted the best for me on this settlement and helped me to avoid having to hire a lawyer and drag out the process. I hope I never get hurt on the job again, but if I ever do I will definitely reach out to them again.

Ii had/have an injury from Amazon and Attorney Vernon was there from start to finish. Dealt with my frustrations went to bat for me every time. My medical, therapy and something in my pocket plus more. I’m so grateful that he was recommended to me. Amazon ain’t no joke but all my bills were paid, plus. The experience was made better by picking Mr. Sumwalt to represent me. It was his humanity that did it for me he was honest (sometimes to a fault). I never got to see the office or meet all of the staff but from my impression Sumwalt Group is a small lawfirm that offers you a personal experience. My case had some bumps and complications so I couldn't have navigated the case alone, but luckily I didn't have to as I had already linked with this lawfirm. I will admit to being frustrated, confused, and sometimes down right angry during this process but Mr. Vernon did a great job of explaining things, and even better going through the emotions with me. I didn't always talk to someone right away when I emailed or texted but I always got a response. I am glad i trusted this lawfirm to guide and represent me against my former employer. I will say this though if you are not patient and need daily help, attention, and communication Sumwalt Group is not for you. Sometimes you just have to wait because that is the process and trust who you chose to represent your interests. Thanks again to Mr. Vernon and everyone who worked my case in one form or another. I would change many things about my case if I could but you representing me isn't one of them.

I had the opportunity and the pleasure to speak with Vernon Sumwalt. I told Vernon exactly what the situation was, regarding my Worker’s Comp., cases. Requesting his help to recommend or possibly find me a doctor in the North Carolina area. My situation was quite a difficult, because my cases are out of state. Vernon definitely knows the law.
