Laura Burt was my collaborative attorney helping guide me through my separation and divorce. She offered good tips from her experience and was very responsive as circumstances required. I wanted to try and go through the process as gently as possible in the circumstances and her approach is collaborative but always keeping your interests in mind. If your case ends up needing to go to court, you will need to obtain a different attorney as she does not litigate. Being able to resolve matters without going to court is the preferred and less costly outcome. I highly recommend Laura!

Laura Burt handled my separation/divorce. Right away she did an excellent job explaining the process and what to expect. I appreciated her experience and bringing up topics I never would have considered at the time. Laura and her staff were able to make my situation much more manageable. Based on her guidance and advice we were able to negotiate an agreement with my ex wife that was in mine and my kids best interest. When possible, Laura utilized her staff to draft papers in order to keep the cost as low as possible. I have recommended Laura to others.
