This is the second time I have have used Will over the last ten years. 10 years ago I was faced with a nightmare of a divorce and Will guided me though a very complicated settlement. I was devastated and Will was patient and understanding. Recently a change in circumstances affected my divorce contract. Will effectively amended the contract to make sure my best interest was met. I highly recommend him for any services involving Family Law.

I am writing this letter to recommend Will Medlin as a family law attorney. As a father of two teen boys and a small business owner, I could no longer remain in a marriage that had taken its toll on my sons and me. Will was recommended to me as an attorney who uses intelligence and reason to protect the rights of those he represents. As this was my first marriage, I was quite nervous and ashamed to be in this situation. My marriage failed and now I had to share all kinds of personal information with a stranger. These feelings didn’t last long. Will is a kind, no-nonsense attorney that is detailed in his fact finding, organized in his communication and focused on the big picture. He provides reasoned guidance and will not hesitate to “shoot straight” with a client that gets caught up in the emotions of the battle. Will has a calm demeanor, but he knows how to deal with an opposing attorney who uses fear and “pit bull” tactics to sway a mediator. As with any negotiation, nobody walks away from the table 100% happy. Will pulls from his experience and resources to help his clients understand when the time is right to accept an offer. Going through a divorce is one of the toughest choices an individual can make. Children, real estate and business investments make this decision exponentially more difficult and stressful. There are so many more considerations that only an extremely talented attorney can see. Will Medlin is this attorney. He resolved my separation agreement quickly and was one of the few bright spots on a journey I never wanted to take. Will is a great attorney and a wonderful guy. Once you work with him, you will agree.

My case, as most, was complexed and messy. Will was simply amazing. Every turn of event and every time I had any issue he was on top of it and always responded to my every question, issue, etc. even when I know he was not in the office! He was very patient with me and respectful in all aspects. He always prepared me for what I feel was 100% accurate. Many attorney's I have found will tell you what you would "like to hear," however this was never once the case with Will. I am very happy to have chosen Will. The firm was also very accommodating and very easy to work with. If I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would. If you're looking for an honest, fair, and a GREAT attorney, your search should be over.

While the situation is never easy, Will Medlin did a fantastic job for me. He was responsive, available, efficient and effective. I would recommend him to anyone.

I've had the pleasure of working with Will and his staff on a case pertaining to my minor son for over two years now. Every step of the way it he has always been competent, communicative, prepared and offered the most profound advice for my benefit. It's not just good enough to hire an attorney to represent you, you must hire someone who is competent with the laws in the state your case is being presented, Will is such an attorney. It is in my opinion that if you don't hire Will Medlin to handle your case, you're settling for someone less than you need and deserve to have as your legal counsel.

Will assisted me in a divorce and subsequent pre-nup when I married again. His guidance and ability to work effectively with opposing counsel was why I selected him to assist with my pre-nup. I would highly recommend Will for any family law matters.

Will was my attorney during a very contentious divorce including my 2 year old. Will helped preserve my parental and fatherly rights when there were many erroneous claims against me. He also foretold of the importance of a future co-parent relationship that would be workable for our young toddler. While defending me in an ugly and unfair divorce, and preserving my fatherly rights; i came out of a train-wreck divorce as a father and rejuvenated! And miraculously, within 2 years i have a respectful, co-parent relationship.

Without disclosing too much personal information regarding my child support/child custody case, I would like to say that Will Medlin at Horack Talley was my attorney and I could not have asked for a better person to represent me and the interest of my son. Will was always professional, timely in responding to my emails, punctual for our meetings both in person and on the phone, well prepared for trial and direct in his dealings with the opposing attorney. Will always listened and was able to offer advice and explain the law without coming off as being pushy or arrogant. I would highly recommend Will Medlin to anyone that may have the unfortunate circumstance of needing a family law attorney. He will have your back and you can be assured that he will treat you and your case with respect and dignity.

Will helped me through a difficult divorce with many strings attached. He was very patient and thorough as we navigated all of the various issues. I hope I will not have to use him again for family law but certainly would recommend him to anyone who needs family law.

Will was extremely helpful in my divorce and childcare negotiations. I felt confident in his knowledge and his personality always put me at ease. He gave solid and honest recommendations, which expedited what could have been a prolonged process. Will was always proactive with communication if there were delays for any reason. I have so many good things to say about Will and my experiences with him. He communicates well, has amazing knowledge of the law and really knows how to get things done. There were times that I didn't like what the answer to my question were but he was always honest with me. I live in another state which has it's own set of difficulties associated with it but Will knew the right path we needed to take. I put all my trust in Will and it payed off in the end. I highly recommend him.

Will is an amazing attorney. He definitely put the work in on my case to ensure we had the best possible outcome. He provided plenty of feedback to ensure I was aware of all my options, potential case conclusions, and any further steps required in the process. He’s concise, caring, understanding, and very responsive to thoughts and questions I had about my case (no ‘days’ of waiting for a response). I would absolutely recommend Will to family/friends and I plan on using him for any future cases as well.
