I was injured initially in December of 2011. I slipped on ice in the freezer of the restaurant that I worked for. I did not immediately retain a lawyer as I thought my employer would do the right thing. After the first surgery on my back I was released back to full duty only to injure my back again. I was injured by a stabbing at my employment by a customer. I did not seek a lawyer at first because I did not feel it was my employer's fault. I then realized there was a lot of legal wrangling that I needed help with. I spoke with two previous firms but was not being offered much assistance.
