We sold a house a couple of years again using this law firm. During that initial transaction, the communication was poor and incompetent. We wired our money, signed our documents but after a few days we still hadn't closed the transaction. That's when we were told the seller had not completed their part of the transaction even though they told us it was done prior to us signing (That seller didn't even own the property yet). We couldn't get a response without physically going to the office and waiting in the lobby. Fast forward a year later to us reselling our investment property and we find out they sold us the property with an unpaid Deed of Trust, unpaid taxes and flimsy title insurance with no real protection. They constantly ignored our inquiries and held up our new closing through their lack of communication and incompetence. The communication was so poor that we had to research and contact the owner of the firm located in Raleigh to get a response/activity in the Charlotte office. It was so bad we nearly reported them to the BAR and truthfully we should have. There are so many more details to this story that would baffle you and are pertinent to this post but I've spent too much of my peace on this firm and I have nothing left to give. I never, ever write negative reviews but I felt I must share my experience on this transaction. I hope this helps other who are vetting this law firm.
