Unsatisfactory experience with Heidi as a parent coordinator. Listens to react and not to understand. In a year as PC she has been unable to resolve any issues and lacks the organization to keep track of or manage any outstanding issues. If you question her billable hours she will falsify statements in her motion that she knows to be untrue. Would not recommend as a PC and certainly not to represent as an attorney.

Not detail oriented at all and will run up your bill with unproductive time.

Was referred to Katie from attorney who doesn’t do real estate. FSBO and needed attorney to help with paperwork. She was responsive to our needs. Unfortunately we accepted a buyer without an agent and the day before closing the bank declined to fund buyer. Things got really messy after that. Katie became escrow manager by default because there wasn’t anyone to fill the role. We had to find another attorney.

Like the Tina Turner song, Carol Austin is "Simply the Best"! When the owners of Ark Veterinary Services, PLLC (AVS) decided to expand their practice in Charlotte, NC with a new brick and mortar clinic, the Miller-Austin Law Firm was highly recommended, and Carol exceeded our expectations. This project started with a search for a realtor to find and purchase the property, find the ideal builder, lender and work with our new “AVS Team” to complete the city/county permitting process. Since this was our first time, it was a complex, daunting and confusing process. Carol and her team help to guide us through this 14-month process which included the Purchase Sale Agreement for the property, including seven closing date revisions with the seller due to delays, multiple easement negotiations with surrounding businesses and numerous calls, meetings and contract revisions with our financial broker and the lender. Since this project was primarily funded through the SBA, the complexity and paperwork went to a new level. Carol led us through this smoothly and calmly and kept our frustration levels down especially with the city/county permitting process taking twice as long as planned. Carol really stepped up when coordinating the closing process which took on a life of its own due to paperwork errors with the lender’s closing agent and legal team. As the AVS Project Manager for this project, without Carol’s guidance and support, we would still be struggling with the above issues instead of watching our new clinic being built!
