They became my family... that means a lot

I walked in June 2019, I received immediate assistance. They didn’t Make me feel small or if my case wasn’t big enough. The team was so attentive and responsive my entire case. I never felt like I was left out or couldn’t trust their direction. I was able to get what I deserved for my pain and suffering due to my injuries. My family and I are forever grateful if I needed legal assistance again they would be the first to call!!

After 9 years of receiving 3rd party disability benefits, the insurance company requested I do an independent medical exam. Shortly after the exam, I received a letter that my benefits would be terminated because according to the exam, I could do my work duties with no problem. This couldn't be further from the truth. I had no clue where to start trying to appeal that decision so I reached out to the Hickory Brain Injury Support Group. They referred me to Charles G Monnett III & Associates. He prepared a well written letter in the appeal contradicting what the independent medical exam said. He knew what to look for in both correspondence from the insurance company and the independent medical exam. There was status updates from him as the appeal progress proceeded. I didn't have to have a lawyer to file the appeal but expected it would have to go to court for things to be made right and get my benefits back. Mr. Berthold with Charles G Monnett III & Associates helped me get my benefits reinstated via the appeal he filed for me. I couldn't be happier with the job he did for me not only because of the reinstatement but because he always made me feel as he cared and had things under control. Actions speak and the actions of anyone I dealt with at Charles G Monnett III & Associates were above what I would've expected. I HIGHLY recommend this firm and Matthew C. Berthold.

Randall and I worked on a complicated case in North Carolina where our client suffered very serious injuries at the hands of very large corporate defendants. The multiple defendants denied liability to our seriously injured client and in discovery dumped thousands of pages of documents on Randall, hoping that he would miss something important. He was able to find the "smoking gun" papers out of those thousands and through extensive discovery and depositions his efforts led to a substantial settlement in the end. In the beginning the defendants would pay nothing, but Randall was able to catch them and get them to settle the case. Can't wait to work with him again in the future.
