EVERYBODY please be careful with what attorney you hire specially for immigration. These so called lawyers did absolutely NOTHING for us. We had to go running around and figure stuff out on our own. When we would try calling the office to see about any updates, they were either not in the office at all, and always left messages, and never got a call back. Never did i know we had an appeal date, and at the end i should have done it myself. they're not worth $5,000 at all.

I retained the law firm of Butler & Quinn (see the review on Brad W. Butler) several months ago and it has been a nightmare. Mr. Quinn is also unresponsive, unprepared and until I had a court date with him the first time I thought that he was imaginary. I, like so many others, have tried a numerous amount of times to get in contact with him either by phone or email and have had no success. He talked to me the first time when I retained him and then I didn't see or hear from him for approximately 2.5 months until my court appearance. After the hearing he told me that he didn't have time to talk to me or give any details concerning my case...my case. I then met with one of his paralegals only to be told lies about my case and my options. He was not prepared for the hearing either I must add. The judge had to correct him several times about information on my case. After constantly trying to contact him, his partner Brad Butler called and screamed at me threatening the morning of my hearing date to withdraw from the case because he said that I was too demanding and nasty. All I wanted was information about my case and to speak with my attorney. It is beyond me how either one of them could ever hold a license to practice law. I have since requested a refund of my money and have retained a different attorney. One that does return calls promptly and gives you correct information. Butler and Quinn sugarcoat things to get you in by making false promises and lies. I am currently in the process of reporting both of the to the North Carolina State Bar. I would never hire either one of them again, even if my life depended on it.

Before I would refer this office to many hispanic but I started having trouble with getting calls back after calling and asking for help on my fiance visa process. Now my fiance is still in Mexico and have not received any help from this lawyer or his parallegal. We look for lawyers to help us and pay a very rediculis price but you can't even get help. I left several messages on Monday for someone to call me back and its Wednesday and have not yet received a call. So what is my fiance to do, well he had to go back home, not to mention its 3 days on a bus to travel to the consulate and it cost us an additional $700 for him to go back home. Plus I would have to pay for him to ride back to the consulate for the next appt.
