Initially retained for bankruptcy but decided otherwise. Requested retainer be returned and received the following communication: "Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like a bank. It’s a retainer for services so it is a credit with the office. Whenever you come back for services, then the credit will be applied." I've contacted the NC Bar for resolution.

Called for a consultation and she told me that she doesn't handle what I was looking for. Which was interesting because I was referred to her by a plan that I am a part of. If she no longer handles those types of cases she should update her information. Nonetheless, she was VERY rude, cold and dismissive!
