Jonathan Meek was very hands on and he really worked for me and helped me start up my company while continuing to help maintain any legal matters I have. He works on your time and is very knowledgable. He really cares for each individual client and I felt very pleased with his abilities and resources.

I engaged the services of Hunter & Hein, Attorneys at Law, Charlotte, NC to help me with a vehicle ticket that I couldn't get the court via fax to dismiss and didn't want to make the 4 1/2 hour drive to go to court. I spoke with Valerie Hunter on a Tuesday and explained the situation and she told me that she would get right on it. I paid the retainer fee and faxed her the necessary papers. On Friday of that same week she returned my call telling me that she was emailing me a copy of the dismissal as we spoke. I was amazed. After me trying to do it on my own for 6 months, she took care of it in just days and was very professional. I am quite impressed with this law firm and will definitely keep them in mind again should the occasion arise that I need an attorney. Their followup was great. I definitely would give this firm 5 stars!!!!

Where to even begin... I was going through an extremely tough separation and custody battle for over 2 years. When I called Bill I had already been through 3 different lawyers all of which did nothing for me and charged me through the roof. I met with Bill after my call to him in Oct. 2015 we sat down came up with a plan and worked to execute it. Within 4 months of working with Bill Hunter my custody agreement was done and signed off on by the judge. Not only did Bill work diligently with my case, he was by far the best communicative lawyer I've ever worked with. Last but definitely not least Hunter & Hein were reasonable and worked with my financially. I truly cannot say enough about the 2 of them and how over pleased I was with my experience using them. If your looking for a lawyer who is on top of his game, continuously updating you, very responsive, reasonable with fees, and who truly has your best interest at heart - I would not hesitate to give Bill Hunter a call!

We highly recommend Valerie Hein Hunter. She was extremely helpful in handling a traffic ticket for our son who could not attend his court date. She was very professional and exceeded our expectations in every way.

Hunter & Hein are excellent and I recommend them without hesitation. I have a legal service plan through my employer, and discovered at the last minute that I could not make a traffic court date because of a last minute problem that came up at work. Not making that meeting would have meant months of work to undo the problems that would have arisen; missing the court date would have caused significant problems for me legally, and there is no way to contact the court to try and reschedule the hearing. My legal service plan was worthless, after several hours they referred me to an attorney who refused the case, saying that he "does not do that kind of work". The one good thing that resulted was that he gave me Hunter & Hein's contact info. They were clear, focused, knew immediately what I needed, and did not hesitate to arrange to help me-and this was at 4:00 PM the day before a 9:00 AM court date the next day. They were friendly, non-judgemental, charged a reasonable fee, took care of the matter efficiently and responded immediately when I had a follow up question. I could not ever imagine having anything good to say about lawyers-but I feel absolutely certain that I would call Hunter & Hein with any problem for myself or my family, no matter how large or how small. It is a great relief knowing that if I ever need attorney again, I can call them with all confidence that they will handle my concern effectively, efficiently, and in a timely way, or get me to the right person if they feel they can't. They represent true excellence in the practice of law, and I highly recommend them.

I retained almost 4 weeks ago and she just asked for my bank statements a week ago to help figure out my case. Now that i have retained all the papers she called me today to let me know she is quiting knowing that my court date is in TWO WEEKS. If those papers were so important that she was going to quit, dont you think you would have asked for them on day 1? Also all 3 times she said she was going to call me, she didn't. This case is more important to me than anything because it is over custody and child support problems affecting my child's future. Thanks for leaving me and my family in jeopardy. Also the "Law Firm" is simply in her house at the dinning room table. I should have known better when i arrived at a private home AND she was even late to our one and only meeting at HER HOUSE. Would not recommend for any legal assistance. And yes she is refunding my money minus the consultation fee.

I am very impressed with Hunter & Hein, Attorneys at Law, PLLC. On my first call I spoke with Bill and every discussion after was with Valerie. I never spoke to a receptionist or paralegal.
