Michael handled our Son’s Estate after he was seriously injured in a workplace accident and died. The case involved a Workmen's Comp claim, Estate processing and an estranged wife negotiation issue. I met with Michael on a contract dispute that involved some sensitive information. Michael listened to the details that had the potential for an escalation between the parties involved. We discussed what I was looking for and avenues if the other party chose to fight. He maintained communication over the weeks he was involved and promptly answered the phone himself and responded to follow-up emails within hours. After the other party signed an agreement they had initiated that did not address one of the core issues, he caught the issue and advised me not to sign it. Michael then made changes that protected my interests. Had he not reviewed the agreement, it would have potentially costs me over $20K. Michael helped my family and I with a tenant eviction case. He was always sure to also have a translator readily available for my family who spoke Vietnamese and very little English. This was a case that was beyond what I could handle on my own because it also involved section 8 (Charlotte Housing Authority) as well as the city of Charlotte so we decided to seek help.
