I wish I could give zero stars. Megan Baumgardner is the worst attorney and completely violates client privacy. She failed to represent me and refused to return my money. I have a complaint filed with the bar. Her relationship with the judges and other members of the court greatly impact her inability to represent individuals fairly. If you care about your family, avoid her.

I have a friend in jail since September. John Lewis is his court appointed attorney. He has yet to visit him!!! Despite multiple attempts to contact Mr Lewis. His administrative assistant is very short with those of us who have tried to reach out to Mr Lewis regarding contacting the inmate!

John is THE worst! My son has been going through a case for literally 2 years and due to lack of communication, no shows and everything else a warrant was issue for my son because of him! Even today, my son in court and the judge allowed him to step outside to contact his attorney and low and behold, he “forgets” and calls me to say he’s on his way! Money has been paid….no sir! Judge dismissed him because of OUR truth and like he said, this could’ve BEEN handled! I would NEVER refer him to anyone.

Attorney Megan Baumgardner helped me through the most stressful time in my life. As a defendant who is not very familiar with our legal system, I felt lost, helpless, and confused. Megan was there to guide me every step of the way. She was incredibly transparent about every detail of my case, which I appreciated. She also carefully explained every possible outcome and angle for every argument. I felt confident and prepared with her at my side. It was clear to me that she thought about my case even when she was not in her office. I had, at least, a million questions throughout the entire process-even about the simplest minutia of the legal system. Megan patiently answered everything with no judgment. Attorney Baumgardner recognizes that people are the center of her work. She took the time to understand me as a person and what was most important to me. When Megan spoke at my trial, I was hearing a perfect representation of my own voice. I will always be extremely grateful for Attorney Baumgardner and everything that she has done for me.
