Laura Baker is an Angel; I received a letter from NCDMV informing me that I would get my license suspended for a citation I received during the pandemic. I hired a previous lawyer to take care of it, therefore, I did not think any longer of it, well this previous lawyer Did Not appear in court, causing me to almost get my license suspended. Luckily, I found Laura Baker and she quickly took care of my citation. She took care of this matter for me with in a week, Saved me so much money!! I was given Laura Baker as a court appointed attorney for a case that I was kind of stressed about winning, however, she had my back ten fold and really gave her all to win my case for me. She communicated with me efficiently where as previous lawyers I’ve had were impossible to get in touch with. Ms. Baker did a fantastic job. She explained the proceedings, parameters and what I could expect to see from my Court case. But was still encouraging somehow. My phone calls were returned within hours, and her office followed through on all communications. Everything was clearly laid out. She and her staff were highly professional, which I really appreciated due to the circumstances. The outcome of my case was far better than I could have hoped for. She got my first ticket reduced to improper equipment and my second reduced from 55 in a 35 to a 40 in 35. She was very upfront and did a great job communicating.
