PLEASE READ this review before meeting with this firm so that what happened to me do not happen to you! They are notorious for charging EXCESSIVE FEES and being dishonest! They put on a good performance at the INITIAL CONSULTATION If they think they can make quick money off you. James Scarbrough called me a name after I told him I was filing a complaint! They are NOT PROFESSIONAL but then again, I happen to be African American.

Got a speeding ticket for 60 in a 45...then doubly screwed up forgetting my court date! Contacted Atty. Laura Baker the day after I was supposed to appear in court fearing the worst. Took less than 10 minutes to fill out the forms she emailed over to allow her to represent me, and she took over from there! She tried to contact the DA, despite it being the middle of a holiday week ( close to Christmas ), and tried to take care of the matter quickly. She wasn't able to get through during the holiday break, but was impressed by Mrs. Baker working over a holiday and how dedicated she is to her new clients! She was able to resolve the matter w/ the DA shortly after New Years and got the matter of my missing the court date completely dismissed, and got the speeding ticket reduced to improper equipment - so no insurance increase or points. The rates she charged were also fair and reasonable. Thank you Mrs. Baker!

I found myself in need of legal counsel and as with many started searching online. The great reviews that I found with Mrs. Baker lead me to contact her about my case. From the beginning she was straight forward and helpful. She answered any questions (of which I had many) and always replied in a timely manner. She outlined all the facts of my case and advised me on my best course of action. Once I went to court she continued to give me straight forward expectations and let me know what she would TRY to do beyond that. In my case Laura was able to get even better results than she had told me to expect and I am extremely grateful for her service. I will not hesitate to recommend her to anyone I know seeking legal counsel and should I ever find myself in need of legal counsel again, she will be my first call.

Not sure if it was a rough day but the lady who answered seemed to have an attitude. I called multiple different places trying to kind of see who’d be best to represent my boyfriend & she was the worse I’ve talked to. I asked about payment arrangements you know, majority of it now then the rest on the court date, she was even nasty when answering & when I explained the situation she automatically jumped down my throat. I was unaware you get FTA for being late to court, I’ve never been late & hadn’t been in awhile so I didn’t know the rule. I took my services elsewhere. I’m not spending money on anyone who acts like I’m a bother to them🤷🏾‍♀️

Seegars & Townsend was very professional, friendly and efficient. They handled my case very easily and with a wonderful result. We were very pleased and would hire them again should we require their assistance. They were wonderful and excellent in their field of expertise.
