Seller chose this title company and after 3 days of an executed contract, I still hadn’t heard from them. I had to call them and have them send me the wiring instructions. I also never received confirmation of the wire (I have my bank receipt). Also, this attorney’s office does not contact Cabarrus County tax office for tax estimates for new builds. They calculate the estimated 2024 taxes based on the purchase price. Even though I obtained an approximate estimate directly from Cabarrus County’s reevaluation department in the tax office, they refused to adjust their estimate. It does not make sense that they wouldn’t use an estimate that came directly from their tax office. They seem to be quite rigid and communicate poorly during the closing process.
